• Due to dependency on other departments and utility companies the City needed an alternative solution to be able to improve meter reading accuracies to create accurate bills  to citizens.

• Zimele provided SAP ISU resources for ‘Project Fix-It’ to fix various issues in the ISU module

• Zimele assisted with implementing a solution where customers could easily submit their meter readings via SMS

• The customer readings were directly integrated to the ISU billing systems

• All customers with a cell phone could use the solution as it was not restricted to people with smart phones making the service accessible to most people in the City
