About The Programme
This initiative is dedicated to developing the next generation of technology professionals in South Africa. The Academy is designed to empower unemployed graduates from previously disadvantaged communities by providing hands-on experience, expert mentorship, and an internationally recognised Systems, Applications, and Products in Data (SAP) certification, paving the way for a rewarding career in SAP consulting.
Participants, known as TechCadets, will take part in a 12-month, full-time programme that combines in-classroom instruction with practical workplace training, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to thrive in the technology sector.
The internship is to run in conjunction with Redmoon Training (a specialist ICT training provider), and SETA partners.
Application Process:
To enter the internship program, you must meet the following minimum requirements: • Be a South African citizen, with a clear criminal record. • The maximum targeted age group is 30 years and younger. • Currently unemployed with at least a bachelor's qualification, advanced diploma or NQF Level 7 equivalent • Rudimentary knowledge and understanding of SAP, along with a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the SAP ecosystem, will be highly regarded • Possess good problem-solving capabilities, presentation skills, must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT. • Have a good command of the English language, with excellent communication skills and impeccable work ethic. • You must be able to attend classes on weekdays at specified locations in Cape Town, Centurion or Umhlanga and be willing to work in and around those locations. Should you relocate, it will be for your own cost. • This is a 12-month program, and you must be willing to commit for the entire duration.
